An In-Depth Review Of High School Musical 2

Disney Producer :- “Wow, High School Musical did well those 8 year olds really lapped it up, we need another High School Musical Film!”

Second Disney Producer :- “Yep, kerrr-ching!”

Lucky, lucky us! We watched this last night. It’s even worse than the first one, no really, it’s complete and utter nonsense. My wife who enjoyed the first film was cringing in embarrassment at this one. Crap acting, crap songs, no story at all, some of the cheesiest scenes this side of a tampax advert! On the plus side my 11 year old though it was the bees knees and will no doubt be pestering me for each of the 20 different versions that Disney decide to release, not to mention the endless merchandise.

I only saw the first High School Musical this year. I watched the second one the day it premiered in the US. Maybe I wasn’t in the right mood but I didn’t watch it completely, the commercial brakes seemed to take forever so I switched channels a lot, I even missed the dance scenes I wanted to see. I think the choreography is not bad. But in my opinion the first one was funnier. I’ll probably take some time to watch it again completely the next time to really be able to appreciate it that is if I can survive through it. But I do agree with you about the story…

I barely made it through the whole film myself. I was taking every excuse to duck out.
