Entrecard have a great little system going that is really starting to have quite an impact on the blogging community. I first wrote about Entrecard here, where you can find out more about what the system does. In that time I’ve used Entrecard to kick start the traffic on a few new Blogs, it’s a great way of getting those initial visitors.
However like any system that has benefits there are plenty of people who will try and game it. I’m guessing that there are a fair few people using bots to auto drop their card and apply to advertise on any new blog that enters the Entrecard system. There are also what appears to be some highly inflated advertising point costs that when you do advertise actually deliver very little traffic if any. With this in mind I thought it would be useful to show the websites I’ve advertised on and the number of clicks I’ve received, some are obviously much better than others. If we all did the same then the cheaters would soon be ousted.

Glad your ad was so successful - the folks who clicked on it would be pleased with what they find here, I certainly enjoy reading it.
good idea to weed out the cheats, but how does one cheat?
Flaminglacer runs an excellent blog! Glad to see her top of the list….
I am pretty sure that the entrecard creates are monitoring very closely for any robot related activity. Rest assured if they are cheating, they will be caught. There have been a few people caught already!
From my entrecard dashboard.
Quickstats
697 clicks from your blog to others
11 ads bought from you
I’ve got no complaints about any of the blogs I’ve advertised on:) Entrecard has been excellent to date.
When I’m talking about cheats I suppose what I mainly mean is people using bots to auto drop and auto advertise. For example I started using Entrecard on another blog today and within 30 seconds of it being setup I had 8 card drops and 6 advertismenet requests, all from make money blogs that didn’t relate at all to my new blog. How can that be manual?
Ah okay, just a quick question. the number on your table there. Is that the number of click throughs received from your advertised ads?
As far as the bots, I guess you are right, there can always be a few bad eggs. If there are any botters, etc. I hope the entrecard team is able to spot them
Yep, where I’ve bought an ad on another Blog, it’s the amount of clicks throughs I received from that advert.
I have used your home keyword which directed me here from Google.I have a proposal to start a new website and I am searching for the guidance and I am happy to see the list of links available in your blog which are very much useful for me.
