DealDotCom, Please Not More Junk?

Everybody has heard of Woot right? If you haven’t it stands for Want One Of Those and it’s a website that offers only 1 product for sale each day at a huge discount. It was a great idea at the time and it’s still going very strong today. Well now there is a new service about to go live, DealDotCom! DealDotCom is a Woot for internet marketers with the principal being exactly the same. They are going to sell a limited number of 1 product at a huge discount for 1 day only, the difference is that every product will be of benefit to internet marketers.

The first product doesn’t go live until the 18th of September and until that happens it’s hard to say if this is going to succeed or not. Woot was made on the quality of the products, DealDotCom will be the same. If they really can get the top products and sell them at a much reduced price it’s going to be great. If it’s going to be nothing more than a load of rip-off e-books then it will not take long for the word to spread and then it’s game over.

Personally I hope it succeeds. In my opinion there are enough great products out there to keep them going. Prices in this area are high and a discounted offer will no doubt sell out very quickly after all we’re all willing to spend money to make money aren’t we? On a selfish not I hope they succeed as well because they are offering a great affiliate program. How does a 35% lifetime commission on the first tier with a 15% on the second tier sound? It sounds bloody marvellous to me! If they can deliver on the quality of the products than there is a great potential for a lot of people to make a lot of money from this. As far as I’m concerned I’ll be happy if my affiliate commission can cover the money I’m planning on spending on buying new products!

You can get your DealDotCom account here, as a new member you’re automatically made an affiliate as well so if you do decide you want to share this with others then it’s an easy step to make.

A bit offtopic but you don’t seem to have an email address :)

Just wanted to let you know that our new theme is nearly ready and we’re going to sell 4 140×140 adspots above the fold on http://www.johncow.com

The current price is $125 per month as an introduction.

    Just some facts:

    -Technorati top 3,000
    -Alexa 20,340
    -Predicted PR6

Let us know if you’d be interested in securing one of these 4 spots.

    Regards,

    JC

I agree with you, it depends on the products… otherwise it will be a site with a lot of affiliates and no actual buyers…

I think they will pick up some good products. I read on Yaro’s blog ‘entrepreneur-journey.com that he was talking with the owner about getting some of his product on there. But I guess we will have to wait and see.
